While the bringing back gaming control act could be approved by the House of Representatives, it is unlikely to become a law. National politics is blocking legislation from becoming law in the Philippines because of concerns about how the bill could impact the Philippine economy. Previous attempts have led to major problems, including the rising cost of living and the reduction in benefits to Filipinos. The House Majority leader however has promised that the measure will be voted on in congress.
